NOW Restaurant
Remember Johnny Orleans across from the Quadrangle? That place mysteriously lasted like for yrs. Replacing it: the new NOW Restaurant. Chef Heath Millett (good name for a chef!) and his financier uncle Mitch have basically cloned Never on Wednesday (=NOW, ya folla?), a place they had last yr in palm springs (which outtraveler.com called "campy and fun"). Haven’t tried the food but the menu comes off as generically upscale w/ pizzas, burgers, & entrees such as NY strip au poivre and the pretentious-sounding "French tilapia w/ sauteed spinach and mac&cheez" (whaddya spose makes it French?). It duz do a vegetarian wrap w roasted red pep, mushroom, & baby spinach, but it comes w/ fries, making one wonder about the insight into vegetarianism here. But hey, the wine's way cheap

Like - TOTALLY! I'll have to try it. I used to eat a Johnny's a lot when I worked 3 blocks from the Quadrangle. Ahhh... the days of an 8.0 patio and Thursday happy hours... sigh...
And that tilapia dish must be awfully tiny as the damn fish must be plum wore-out after swimming here from France!
WHAT KIND OF DUMB NAME IS NEVER ON WEDNESDAY? WHAT THE HELL IS THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN? NEVER WHAT ON A WEDNESDAY? EAT FISH? SERVE FOOD? LICK YOUR CROTCH?
What makes the tilapia "French" is that its mouth is in the same shape as a Parisian when he or she says "oeuf."

French fries are vegetarian but vegetarians dont waste their calories on greasy French fries. Most vegetarians that I know are healthier than that.
Really? Most vegetarians I know made the choice on ethical, moral or religious grounds. Only a few give much thought to the health aspects of their diets.
To all you vegetarians:
You ALL eat meat because weevils and little bugs that live in wheat get ground up in the flour and so you've all eaten animal produce!

MOST DOG MEAT IS UNFIT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION, EXCEPT FOR POODLE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND POODLE MEAT TO ALL CARNIVORES. I SUGGEST YOU EAT IT TO EXTINCTION. POODLE IS BEST PREPARED FRIED IN BEEF TALLOW.
