Starbucks cinnamon dolce latte

Adorably manic Starbucks has (yet another) new ltd-edition drink: cinnamon dolce latte. Any coffeebev is newsworthy round here, but thissuz also notable cuz the co seems increasingly committed to the ltd-ed thing, above & beyond the usual pepp, pump, & eggnog. Used 2B that ltd eds only showed up at holidays & beginning of summer not in January. Has Starbucks maybe seen the studies showing that consumers prize the limited avail of special-editions, & that spec eds ultimately encourage purchase of the core product? Anyway, sbux sites already have revus of this cinn dolce latte... "mild cinnamony flavor" w/ notes of "caramelized sugar" & "maple latte" tragically avail only in New England.

I'm with BK's blog, horrified that TG would try to pressure me into cleaning my house.

So they've started selling these lattes already?

I loooove cinammon (second only to chocolate and that probably explains my love for the pumpkin and gingerbread flavored things since cinn dominates) so I'll no doubt enjoy this.

How many blogs cover "the Food Industry"? Doesn't seem like many. But hey good for you.

Twisted, Starbucks is offering cinnamon latte samples everywhere today, but just 100 samples per day. Probably too late now!

Com'on, TG, you can't compare a limited edition Miata, which will be around awhile and might have higher resale value or collectibility because of its smaller numbers, to a "limited edition" that's gone when you drink it.

Boy do they smell sweet though!

Sweet? I'll tell you what's going to be sweet ... when the damned bird flu epidemic hits, and we get to round up all the traitors and "quarantine" them.

How many people do you think will be drinking Starbucks then? Certainly not anyone on the East or West Coasts where all those treasonous insurrectionists live.

And don't you think that I don't know where you live. Hell, I've been listening to your phone conversations and reading your e-mail for four years now!

Not much I can do about liars. Just get tired of the world being full of them.

I gave the latte a try. I definitely recommend asking for it WITHOUT whipped cream. Obviously whiipped cream tastes good but the drink is really rather a bit much with the cream. Still, a very nice drink.

And not as sweet as you might expect.

I love it and it is a good way to get a dose of cinnamon.
