flavored M&Ms

While hersheys kisses & kit kats have gone off the deep end w/ brand extensions, staid ol' M&Ms have mostly stayed the course, w/ only a few spinoffs on the comfy/familiar original M, tho all have been good, from M&M almonds to dark M&Ms to mega M&Ms ('specially the mega peanuts). that makes these flavored M&Ms a pretty big deal. there's 8 flavors: raspberry, cherry, peach, orange, almond, mint, peanut, & mint cookie. the proviso is that they can only be ordered online and are hugely expensive: $49.99 plus $12.95 shipping for 24 oz, a price they justify as acceptable becuz you get a "premium collectible tin". possibly down the road, the most popular flavors will eventually turn up in stores

Too many of you have been complaining about the slow news week. Has it been slow? NO WAY. Just to recap for the whiners:

* I turned down an offer to become Secretary of War to run United Artists. I believe in showing the American Way of Life through film and not with a silly war in Iran.

* I'm working on a list of castles in which to hold my wedding. I'd like a warm, comfy castle, and am finding many Italian castles to be a bit drafty.

* I finally found a good steak. You know how hard it is to find one at a reasonable price.

There was a little bit of stink about getting enough TV airtime this week, I know. Without my say-so, most networks were running a series of infomercials for a product called "elections." But I've worked that out with the Hollywood Liberals, and have been assured that more important news will now be a priority.

I don't buy the fact that "Cruise ate a huge porterhouse steak, a Caesar salad and three side dishes of wasabi mashed potatoes, French fries and onion rings followed by cheesecake and chocolate-covered strawberries, according to In Touch Weekly". Dude seems way too vain to put down that kind of food

It's in the media, Skeptic. It's gotta be true!

......
Katie will wear an Armani wedding gown and Clive Christian No. 1 perfume which costs $2,350 an ounce.

Cruise will sport a Caterpillar-D9 tarp, plus Exxon Jet Fuel A, which costs 80.47 a barrel, to mask the stench from his fortuitous beef farts.

What's the difference between a "Mint" M&M and a "Mint Cookie" M&M? Don't tell me they have little cookies inside the Mint Cookie M&M.

My word verification: HUAHU. One of the unfound islands of Hawaii.

The "premium collection tin" probably costs $1 to make. Sadly, I want to try these.

I find comfort in boring M&Ms. Hate to see they've gone all Chocolate Skittle on us.
