Luna Sunrise nutrition bar

Are protein bars a girl thing? Luna Sunrise nutrition bar, a relatively newish but not brand new product, certainly is. It’s not only targeted to women, it’s targeted to women for breakfast. so, what makes these bars - which come in 3 flavors, strawb cream, blueberry yogurt, vanilla almond - "breakfasty", you ask? The answer: "whole grains"and "omega 3". being a girl, I’m a total sucker for these. love the flavors, love that they’re magically good 4 U, love the drizzled icing. yet hate pop tarts; are pop tarts a boy thing?

i'm going to try these on your recommendation. i like something easy for breakfast, though usually not anything too sweet. currently i'm doing activa yogurt in the prune flavor. it is actually delicious; plum flavored would be more truly descriptive. (and as for its helpful qualities, don't think it hurts.)

have to give a plug for honey crisp apples, too. they are expensive but the the best apples i have ever had -- like a slightly sweeter granny smith, with nice tender skin, juicy, ultra-crisp flesh. i try to get every last bite out of them possible; practically eat the seeds

Yes, I know I've been out of touch for awhile, and I'm sure you've missed me during the many, many postings on this website. But, to your good fortune, I'm back - and with good news.

Kate has finally dropped enough pounds to look good at my wedding, so I've set a date. I still expect her to ditch another 10 before November 18, however. But things look good and I've gone ahead and approved a series of outfits for her to wear at the event.

I'm opting for a small event that will take over only a small town in the north of Italy. Therefore, I can only invite my closest friends and a few relatives, and none of you fit into this category. Sorry.

However, we will gracefully accept your best wishes and wedding gifts. I'm registered in several countries, or you may make a donation to the Tom Cruise Charity and Venture Capital Slush Fund via certified check.

I think "Luna" makes this bar sound girly. Boys need protein to build strong muscles, so they don't get beat up by bullies.

I love me some Pop Tarts. Boys don't like anything that might even be remotely good for them. CHOCOLATE GIVES ME ENERGY!!! (for about 5 seconds)

Is is just me, or do Pop Tarts taste like Nail Polish?

tg: i'm sure you saw the story today that reported seven=ll would no longer sell cocaine, the hi=caffeine drink, due to its suggestive name. duh.

sure they still have all the lastest limited edition candy bars, however.

haven't been the most faithful poster of late, but do try to keep current on reading you and haven't seen a posting from your mom recently. hope she is ok.

why, thank you for asking, ms! I am fine and checking in often. Just trying to be polite and not contribute any sass, for which tg is probably heaving a sigh of relief.

As usual, your grasp of the facts is amazing to behold. Next, you'll be telling us that your other role model, Jim Morrison, died in your arms of a heart attack.

Man, TL, you went back to the dawn of the Internet for that article! "2G August 1994" ... wasn't that just three days after Al Gore invented the whole thing?

clairevoyant, avonica makes a good point. don't you not only know everything, but also know it before everyone else?

avonica, i don't think i buy clairevoyant's "i've never had pop tarts!" spiel, not for a minute. i'd dare say her breath reeks of pop tarts

thanks , ms, but no Kroger's in FL.
Will have to wait for the apples to spread to Target or (shhh) Walmart or Publix. I will start asking at all of them. :-))
I would love to try those bars TG is touting today--have to look for those also.

I'll have to get my estrogen levels checked because I didn't care much for the Sunrise variety. Or maybe I'm just turned off by how they market sissy fruit flavors to women.

You picture was nice, though.
