le petit ecolier - white choc

Le Petit Ecolier white choc cookies reveal what a strict taskmistress innovation can be. there was the little schoolboy, happy for 150+ yrs in his French milieu as a butter biscuit topped w/ a slab of milk choc. Then mkt forces intruded and he was forced to welcome a baby brother: a spinoff in dark choc. Not enough. So the parent co. spawned another sibling, EXTRA dark choc. Still not enough. so now: white choc. (there’s also been a couplo bastard cousins: hazelnut & crisped rice.) This white choc is pleasingly not too sweet; but all Le Petit Ecoliers are good - not too many ingredients and they use butter (vs. butter-flavored hydrogenated oil).

If I were Monsieur Ecolier, I would definitely demand to know exactly WHAT Madam Ecolier had been up to...

Your NYCE trademark is so funny. And a levitating cookie, too. But what is the second picture of, exactly? It looks like the box, but the lettering is hard to see.

Is that a chocolate NYCE? If it is, you should sell those.

what a sweet, sweet story. it almost makes me willing to buy something with white chocolate. alas, however, i gravitate more to the evil dark chocolate characters.

I don't suppose there's a malt version of these cookies?

I forgot to add that when I was a little girl in Nutbush, I liked dark chocolate. Now that I live in Switzerland, I find myself more into white chococlate.

1. to "coworker" (and i don't see how you can be my coworker since i work AT HOME and the only other "person" here is Ball, and i know for a fact that he is not reading this blog), the second photo is the side of the box which shows the various flavor spinoffs. if you click ON the photo, it's a little easier to see. but my digi-cam doesn't do a good shot on tight closeups.

2. "Tina Turner," i was sure i read a story in rolling stone or vanity fair or somewhere that said that tina turner had a villa in ITALY. not switzerland. i'm thus concluding that you are an impostor.

Actually, I have homes in France and Switzerland, but not Italy. I take it you've never been to my lakeshore home in Goldküste, the most exclusive district of Zurich?
