Hershey's Kisses Mini Cookies

Perhaps addled by the success of its various ltd-ed kiss releases, Hershey’s seems to be under the impression that the so-called kiss shape (cuz it’s not exactly shaped like a kiss, it’s more teardrop, right?) is some kinda valuable commodity. A few mths ago, the co. issued kissables, basically an M&M in the "kiss" shape. Now: teeny-weeny Hershey’s Kisses Mini Cookies. * There's choc chip, Double Choc, & multi-colored Confetti Sprinkles. They’re so tiny that there’s lotsa crunch but not much going on taste-wise; the choc-chips are so small, they have minimal impact. It’s basically playing off the cute factor which makes you wonder how long they’ll last.

thank you "plano guy", whoever you are!!!!
i heard somewhere that the kiss name came from the sound the machine made when it dropped the blob of chocolate, anyone else hear that? (was it here that i heard it?) with my mind so much in the future, i tend to forget the past.......

to my knowledge, no one has ever floated that theory about the kiss making a noise when it's excreted from the production line. that may well be top-secret info, clairevoyant. hershey being traditionally tight-lipped about its processes. in fact, this might be known only to you. there's a reason they call you clairevoyant!

I've been accused of playing off the cute factor, but biting into me does result in satisfaction. TMI?

What shape is a "kiss" really?

This comments area seems devoted to silliness but I have a real question I'd like to ask: How many cookies in a serving, how many calories, and how many servings in the box?

Go buy a bag for yourself. Or check out the nutritional information on Hershey's website. What do you think this is, the Library of Congress?

At June 02, 2006 8:08 AM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

i think it's 22 cookies per serving, and i think it's 150 calories per serving, and i think there's 9 servings in the box. (i don't have the box right in front of me and the cat is on my lap.)

If the cat is in the lap, what's the frequency, Kenneth?

FINALLY, NEWS I CAN USE. HOW MANY SERVINGS - AND CALORIES PER - IN THE CAT?

Twisted Dog:

For dogs, cats are like desserts are for humans... No calories in ANY size serving.

Just make sure you floss and brush after eating.

when the cat is on my lap, i OBVIOUSLY can't disturb his sleep to get up for something as trivial as checking calories in a tiny cookie. that said, if each serving has 22 little cookies and 150 calories, then how many calories per cookie? get back to me on this ASAP

let's see. 22 per serving, 150 calories, that's 22 x 150.....
carry the 3.......

3300! right?

They are totally cute.

I wonder how they'd work as an ingredient in homemade cookies. That is, double chocolate cookies with chocolate chunks and little mini cookies along with the chunks.

Hmmmm.....maybe too weird texturally.

Maybe you could bake them into chocolate biscotti? That would be cool looking.

Hey Einstein, it's not 150 cals per cookie, you stupid twit!

Cat's fur flosses naturally on the way down, so TD is home free there.
