Take 5 choc cookie edition
Intro’ing new prods, diversifying, taking chances, offering choices = all good things. So where did the Limited Edition Take 5 w/ chocolate cookie go wrong? It has, what, caramel, peanuts, PB, & milk choc. Hard to argue w/ that, right? Except what makes Take 5 Take 5 is the PRETZEL, i.e. the sweet vs the salty. The choc cookie is crunchy and offers a moderate contrast. But it ain’t no pretzel, man.

You're absolutely right, they totally messed up their unique selling proposition. A cookie inside a piece of candy? How original!
I'm sticking with the regular Take 5.
oh! cybele's comment reminded me to scan her site, where she did an item on this over a month ago. i guess it took a while for these to get here, and by "here", i of course mean here (altho i hadn't seen them here either)
I thought I had seen something on this before. And I concur, it's good but the original is better.

Hahah - tg - for once I was in the homeworld for Hershey's products and got them before they went into wide release (my trip to PA back in Feb).
I still haven't seen them here in LA though I caught sight of them in NYC.

They've been around the East coast for a while, I didn't realize we were ahead of the rest of the country in anything besides time zone.
I had a recipe for a jello thing that had crushed pretzels at the bottom, it was always a hit!
$2.50 CAN TURN INTO QUITE A WAD IF YOU KEEP GOING BACK AFTER SHIFT CHANGES AND HIT UP ALTERNATE STORES. TOO BAD DOG KILLER CAN'T TURN INTO ANYTHING RESEMBLING A HUMAN BEING.

I don't know, I tried the whole take 5 gimmick, I wasn't impressed. It was too many kinds of foods in my mouth at one time. I felt like it was raping my tastebuds, and didn't even have the decency to give them a reach around. What's next; turkey, mashed potatoes, yams, cranberry sauce, and gravy wraped in a layer of chocolate? The Thanksgiving Crunch. Pass. I'll stick with my boring candy bars, like Snickers, Mounds, and Skor.
