Banana Creme Filled Twinkie
Already experienced in the ways of the limited edition, Hostess is issuing ltd-ed banana Twinkies filled w/ banana-flavored cream (which they of course spell crème). The impetus for this flavor is some DVD release (ape movie, don’t make me name it, even mentioning "DVD" is shillish as it is), and part of Hostess’ blah-blah is the sorta-interesting fack that twinkies started out banana but switched to vanilla cuz of wartime shortages. But more intweeguing (to me, anyway) is that there’s already been another product announcement this summer w/ the same flavor. All you need is one more banana product to make it an official trend.

Well there's talk and there's action, isnt there
i.e., there's people who hear about bananas and people who eat them
Personally, I like a banana shake. You chop the banana into pieces, then throw it into a blender and puree the hell out of it until it's a pulpy mass
I could've sworn every so often they release banana Twinkies for a limited time, like every other year. Or maybe that was just in my dreams.
I need better dreams.
I thought the same thing. That I've seen a banana Twinkie before this.
I liked sliced bananas.
twisted:
what kind of apes have you been listening to?
(and leave it to t.g. to slip in another starbucks mention)
TG:
If you had waited another three days, you could have used this to celebrate the 76th "birthday" of the Twinkie -- introduced on April 6, 1930.
"slip in" another starbucks mention? slip in??? why, anyone can see, that's the whole point of this item. i can't speak for tg but i daresay that she wouldn't have considered posting an item on these measly twinkies were they not lucky enough to have the same flavor as the starbucks drink. without that starbucks drink, these twinkies would be NOTHING. (one would think clairevoyant would already know that.)
Twinkie sounds like a perfect name for your dog, Paris.
Regarding changing names ... when ITT owned Sheraton Hotels, someone (OK, my Dad) once suggested that they change their logo to
SH (for Sheraton Hotels) - ITT
It is a good thing my Dad never tried to make corporate branding his career.
Oh my, Kirk, that is so funny!!!
M.B. SHOULD CHECK OUT BOB SAGET. I'M SURE THERE ARE MANY DEFINITIONS OF TWINK THAT ARE FAMILIAR TO DOG KILLER.
WEll, T.G.? Anybody home?
