marble mocha macchiato
Next wk Starbucks intros a "new" bev, the Marble Mocha Macchiato. It's not really new, but a big hoo-ha prod intro'll cover the demise of Chantico, the profound choc drink so super-rich (they made it w/ cocoa butter), it wuz more dessert than drink. Marble mocha = white choc mocha syrup, milk, espresso, & choc drizzle. Weird thing: they’re free-sampling it Feb 15, missing the big Val-Day opp by a day. Meanwhile, coming to conv stores in march are 2 new bottled drinks: 1. Starbucks Iced Coffee, a "milky sweetened coffee drink sold in 8-oz cans" (which um is different from Frapp & DoubleShot how?) 2. Strawberry Frappuccino.

First! Sounds interesting but I'll stick to the straight up Mocha.
You might be first, Captain, but we'r right on your heels. This drink seems like a lot of to-do about nothing. But a bottled strawberry Frappuccino, that's new. For kids, I bet?
When did they discontinue the Chantico???
I'm with you, Twisted Link. And that strawberry frappuccino sounds suspiciously like the hideous strawberry Nestle's Quick.
Correct me if I'm wrong but it seems like this has nothing to do with hot chocolate. This has coffee in it, right? Or did the Chantico also have coffee. Again, it could be my mistake.
It is a white chocolate mocha, with the coffee shot poured on top, topped with dark chocolate. So you are right. It's not classic hot chocolate, but a cafe mocha with weird stuff mixed in. But I don't think TG was implying it was hot chocolate; simply a Starbucks concoction aiming to make people forget about the dearly departed Chantico.
L.V. I've tried the MMM (marble mocha macchiatto, both as hot drink and as a frappuccino and the both taste so wonderful to me! Nice, rich chocolate flavor, MMMMMMMMMMMM I love it. Used to be a caramel macchiatto both hot or as a frappuccino, The Marble Mocha such a rich chocolate taste that it won my "taste buds. Yeah, I still love the caramel, but the MMM seems to be my prefered favorite right now.
I wont drink anything but the MMM... I LOVE IT!
the best drink is a double chocolate chip frappuccino with extra chocolate!!!!its the best!
The MMM is definitly the best of its kind!! I tell everyone I know to try it even though it's not on the menu anymore either and they, majority, love it too!!!
