hershey's 'n' more

Have had these Hershey's 'n' more bars "on hand" as an emergency backup blog item for wks now. Long before they were even posted on Hershey's site. Which is not so uncommon, for Hershey's to observe some kind of crack-addled timetable vis a vis product release & product announcement. (Starbucks does the same thing, which it sez is to prevent people from becoming rabid w/ desire and infuriated when it's not available.) (There are many great linkable items in that last sentence - rabid, infuriated, etc - but today, alas, is link-free.) Anyway Hershey's is beginning to drown itself w/ special editions, so much so that they ain't special anymore. But this 'n' more bar is really GOOD, with A+ proportion of cookie, choc, and goo (3 kinds, fudge, marshmallow, & caramel). Very Twixy.

Can anyone guess what those candy bars are hanging from?

Mrs. Butterworth's syrup? The blue raspberry limited edition, of course.

It's perfectly obvious that's a big beaker full of the blue stuff that's in airline toilets.

A Hershey's marshmallow tree; it is the same blue as that & More bottle. Actually,I would guess mouthwash or the stuff you use to blue your hair. It has the wrong kind of top for Windex, no pump, unless it is a refill bottle.

On another front, my daughter found some maple walnut ice cream at Walgreen's. In their Scoops brand. It isn't bad, if you are a fan of maple ice cream, as I am.

lava lamp yes - and the captain is smart for making the goo connection, to boot. if only i'd thought to concoct a prize for such a silly contest

ms.ery, i'm a big fan of walgreen's scoops brand of ice cream. i've tried the birthday cake flavor, as well mint chip, banana split, & black cherry.

walgreen's is credited w/ popularizing the banana split and has taken credit for inventing that greatest thing of all, the MALTED milkshake

I KNEW it was a lava lamp even before I saw the small print asking. (And not because of my claire-voyance.)
I'm going through link withdrawal. I feel like I did when the Mod Squad ended.
