Skittles Smoothie Mix

Skittles, not my deal personally, but the new flavor - Skittles Smoothie Mix - pushes a button. "Like a fruit smoothie drink in a candy shell," sez the little slogan. How meta izzat? Cuz the thing is, they taste nuthin like a smoothie. Their candy coating may be a smoothie-esque pastel, but they pretty much taste like regular Skittles. But I guess if yer a kid these days, your only connection to fruit is via a smoothie drink. (Duhyou spose "smoothie" implies "healthy"?) Tums has “smoothie” flavors too incl a new cocoa & cream, but in their case, smoothie = smooth texture.

If I were a kid, I'd read NYCE... It's got a lot of pretty colors. And it's funny, to boot.

Skittles are just like M&M's, but without the chocolate and/ or nuts.

i'd hoped ms.ery might actually like yesterday's Starbucks item. i'm not sure but i thought ms.ery liked a little bit of the demon rum now and then. a NYCE starbucks item isn't a NYCE starbucks item without a ms.ery dig

Been woefully neglecting your blog of late, but the Smoothies made appearances out east months ago. I remember having a bag in the middle of summer.

Hope all's well in Big D. I had my first official Starbucks holiday coffee of the season today: eggnog latte.
