Hershey's Kissables

Let’s see, little choc bits w/ a colorful candy coating. M&Ms, right? Oh but these are shaped like a chocolate chip (tho Hershey would have you say that they’re shaped "like a kiss" xcept there is no such shape). Anyway there you have it, the "new" Kissables, which hershey’s hopes will expand the Kiss audience beyond smkts and into convenience stores. Cuz, what w/ the Hershey bars & reese’s cups & so on, there aren’t enough hershey’s consumers at conv stores already. Ouch, look out, data: Only 3% of Hershey’s Kisses are sold at conv stores, compared w/ 35% for Reese's and 20% for Hershey's bars.

Are there any maple chips in it? You know, the kind made from maple leaves??

Ms.Ery... I kinda think that maple latte's are in Canada because Canada is a world class producer of maple syrup, primarily from Quebec and Ontario. I am told that sugaring off is a tradition not to be missed.

Of, course, I fully expect Dogbreath to pop in any time now and BARK about yellow snow...

I prefer to just munch from a bag of semi-sweet Tollhouse chips. Why put a candy coating on?

maybe the little chippers get chilly. sometimes convenience stores aren't as well heated as supermarkets

Do you suppose Kissables make you more kissable? That seems to be the implied benefit. But everyone knows candy cant do that - you need mouthwash.

I was interested in statement that they were aimed at getting entry into CONVENIENCE stories, i.e. 7-Eleven. Has anyone done a study and do people who shop convenience stores eat more candy?

Kissables chocolate is terrible ... and why is this better than M&M's?

Um, well maybe. There's too much shell and it's kinda bitter. Didn't they make these once before?

I am excited because my son with a peanut allergy can actually eat these! He can't eat M&M's (plain or peanut). Huge draw for the kiddos.

When is hershey going to make a sugarfree M&M? I am diabetic but love M&M's. Can't stop eating them.

These little delights are DELECTABLE! Suck away the candy shell, and the mini-Kiss becomes soft and rich-tasting in your mouth. YUM to the eighteenth power! They have M&Ms beat all hollow!
