"Norman Rockwell" ice cream
In the realm of b.s. products not worth buying (but well worth ragging): "new" Norman Rockwell ice cream. (New being a relative term since the few remaining corps who run the ice cream biz won't innovate w/ new flavors anymore.) What's "new" is the package: a Norman Rockwell image on the carton. Which would be exciting if you ate cartons. Cringe, it’s made locally: by Southwest Ice Cream (they make Oak Farms ice cream, which is what this prob is), div of Dean Foods, but conceived by L&M, 2 guys aiming to profit on a whole buncha junk (jams, etc) merched under the Norman Rockwell brand.

No fancy photo, T.G.? You've spoiled us.
Seems like you boomers already eat enough ice cream. Maybe they are after the geriatric crowd.
THIS SAVINGS AND CLONE LINK SHOULD BE BOMBARDED WITH VIRUSES. I SPEND ALL MY TIME TRYING TO GET RID OF CATS AND THEY WANTTO CREATE MORE??? ASSHOLES.
Appreciated the "new" link.
Do you suppose that is the market that they're trying to go after, boomers? Norman Rockwell seems a bit before their time. Do Rockwell collectibles command good prices?
Right On TG...Love the Dean Foods link.
m.b.: i visit lots of antique malls and i don't see rockwell stuff in them. an original would probably command a respectable price, but otherwise, i don't think he is collected.
or TOO familiar to too many people
but doesn't rockwell evoke feelings of home and comfort, much like cookies, banana pudding, mashed potatoes, chicken 'n' dumplings and all those "like mother made" dishes?
i wonder, is there a rockwell coffee ice cream?
Maybe they will run coupons in this week's Saturday Evening Post?
oh MY how clever, how learned, how witty is kirk!
Me thinks this product will hit a rocky road...
